If you have been on the North Coast 500, we lie right on this famous route 57 miles north west of Lairg; with the closest main airport south east of us at Inverness.
Designed by three local golf enthusiasts – Lachie Ross, Ian Morrison and Francis Keith – and opened in 1988, Durness Golf Club nestles on Scotland’s north coast and is Britain’s most north westerly golf course on the mainland. We are a 9 hole links, but with a second set of tees that provides a fine 18 hole experience, set against some of the most stunning landscape backdrops you will see in the golfing world.

It was a great moment to play on this nice golf course in Durness! We had a great time 😎👍👌
Remember the day we played Durness Golf Course, and had our game rudely interrupted by the RAF carrying out a live bombing excercise, they preceded to blow hell out of a wee island probably a mile or so out to sea, exciting afternoon 💥

Anyone on holiday in the north simply can’t miss this gem - played in so many countries at great courses but this one is always worth the 5 hr journey up 👌best par 3 and best risk or reward par 5
