Dear Members.
I am sure you will be as delighted as me to know that Durness won the Best 9 Hole Golf Course in Scotland at the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards held in Inverness on Thursday 21st March 2024.
The criteria for the award were:
Course design and layout.
Scenic beauty.
Course condition and maintenance.
Customer experience.
We have members past and present to thank for the foresight and continued dedication for providing such a magnificent golfing asset in North West Sutherland.
I look forward to seeing many of you on the course this coming season but be warned, this award may bring in many more golfers wanting to play the Best 9 hole golf course in Scotland 2024!
